The forms of Jesus Christ are: 1. the form of God and 2. the form of a servant.

He appeared (Christophany) in the form of God in the Old Testament and in the form of a servant in the New until His resurrection when He entered back into the glory that He possessed with the Father before the world began (John 17.)

Jesus Christ is God-man, the Word that is God and is with (pros) God, the Creator, King of kings and Lord of lords. All things were created by Him and for Him and by Him all things consist.

Surely you do not hold to the Son as a begotten God, do you? (Heb. 10: 5)

Sometimes the bible writers say something about the divinity of Christ yet use human terms as in I Cor. 15: 47). Sometimes they do the opposite as when mention is made of the blood of God. (Acts 20: 28)

Are you advocating that the body and humanity of Christ are without beginning? If so, is that not kin to Mormonism? Also, does it not confuse his humanity with his divinity?

Blessings,

StephenStephen Garretthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10866698322854892197noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31147681.post-19175174945470361672012-07-17T20:11:28.953-04:002012-07-17T20:11:28.953-04:00Philippians 2:6-9 explains the forms of Christ Jes...Philippians 2:6-9 explains the forms of Christ Jesus. There is no contradiction. If Christ did not become a man until His incarnation, why is it that He stated that He came down out of heaven (John 6:38-58), Paul says the second man is the Lord out of heaven (1 Cor 15:47.) and the author of Hebrews states that there is one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus?
Why fear what the scriptures plainly declare?FolloweroftheLambhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18179469886300691710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31147681.post-54473042728747003722012-04-22T04:40:42.568-04:002012-04-22T04:40:42.568-04:00Dear Jason:

Christ did not become a man until he was born of the virgin.
