Boyce Is Succinct

J. P. Boyce, in writing upon "Regeneration" and "Conversion," says:

"From the Scriptural teaching we see that the whole work of Regeneration and Conversion is included under the one term regeneration."

Clearly and succinctly Boyce tells us that "regeneration," in the Bible (and among the first Particular Baptists in England), included conversion!

It is the Presbyterian baby sprinkling Calvinists who first split up biblical regeneration into segments and parts, calling only the first part or stage "regeneration." And, men like Gill and Boyce would write and speak of the subject 1) using the newly created definitions of "regeneration" that have come forth from the likes of men like Berkhof and Shedd, 2) using the bible definition of the term, which they admit made no such distinctions as are made by these "hair splitting" theologians.
