Sociology Background

I believe that my collegiate studies in sociology have helped me in my historical understanding of the "anti-mission" movement and of the group known as "Primitive" or "Hardshell" Baptists. Sociology is the science of studying groups, large or small, and of their function. It is a help in understanding the second causes at work in the mission and anti-mission movement among the Baptists.
